20th Century Fox and Walden Media are teaming up for the first time for the third installment of the big screen adaptation of the C.S. Lewis’ epic classic series. And fans can’t wait to watch The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader online. The upcoming fantasy adventure film is the first to be released in 3D and will be the first not to be distributed by Walt Disney Pictures following disputes over financial concerns and creative differences. Michael Apted also replaced Andrew Adamson as the director.
And now, Fox has unveiled brand new photos to make people want to watch The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader online. The latest images feature some of the scenes from the movie. We get to have a look at the Dawn Treader, a ship built by King Caspian to sail through the Silver Sea and beyond. They are out in search of the Seven Lords because the Narnians need their seven swords in order to save their mystical world from an impending unfathomable fate. But they must cross through some mysterious islands, the magical river that turns anything it touches into gold, and get to encounter numerous creatures. One of them is the half-star named Lilliandil.
A shot shows King Caspian with Edmund Pevensie, another one with Lucy Pevensie alone, onboard the eponymous ship. The two younger Pevensies, along with their annoying 9-year old cousin Eustace Scrubb, were the only ones sucked back into Narnia through the painting. Their older siblings, Peter and Susan, were said to be too old to return to Narnia. But they will make a cameo appearance when you watch The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader online.
The film stars Skandar Keynes as Edmund, Georgie Henley as Lucy, and Ben Barnes as King Caspian. Simon Pegg stepped in to voice Reepicheep, the talking warrior mouse, after Eddie izzard bowed out to return to the film series. Liam Neeson will once again voice the Great Lion Aslan. Watch The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader online to catch all of these amazing scenes.
