Watch Gulliver’s Travel Online

November 27, 2010

In this holiday season, you can watch Gulliver’s Travel online. The epic masterpiece by Jonathan Swift will be brought back to the big screen by 20th Century Fox, the people who brought us the blockbuster hit movie franchise Night at the Museum. It will surely become another huge hit at the box office because the Gulliver’s Travel is one of the most-read children’s books of all time and a classic of the English literature. It is seen as a parody of the literary sub-genre of the “traveler’s tale” and a satirical view of the human nature and the European government.

But fear not, when you watch Gulliver’s Travel online, it will not be a period piece as it will star the Frat Pack member Jack Black. It is a contemporary re-imagining of the classic story. Heck, Gulliver is set fight a Transformer-esque robot in one of the scenes. The story starts with Gulliver working as a “doormat” mailroom clerk set in modern-day Manhattan. He then posed as a free-spirited travel writer and was instantly given a project to write about the Bermuda Triangle. Wile sailing through the seas alone, he was caught inside a storm. When he woke up, he is seen tied up and surrounded by the Lilliputians, a race of people who are less than 6 inches tall. Seen as a giant, the Lilliputians were initially scared of him but when they realized that he did mean them any harm, they set him free. He promised to protect them and was then seen as their hero. For the first time in his life, Gulliver is considered to be cool.  But the President the Awesome was dueled to fight against a robot a rival neighboring island, it was revealed that he was really a nobody. But when the Lilliputians got in trouble, he learned that it is not how big you are on the outside that matters, but on the inside.

The film will hit theaters on December 22 in theaters but you can also watch Gulliver’s Travel online.
