Twilight Stars to Present New Eclipse Scene at the MMAs

Twilight big stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner will be presenting a new clip from the upcoming Twilight saga: Eclipse.  The never before seen clip will debut at the MTV Movie Awards on June 6, 2010 from the Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City, California. The last two movie clips that Summit Entertainment was the confrontation scene between Edward Cullen and Jacob Black and the conversation of Bella Swan and Rosalie Hale.

They have become staples at the MMAs since they shot to stardom in 2008 for the first Twilight movie. They also came in the past two year to premiere movie scenes from the first and second installment of the Twilight series. In 2008, a scene in Twilight about the battle scene between Edward and James (played by Cam Gigandet)  at the ballet studio debuted on the awards show. The year after that, a new clip from new Moon also premiered on the show. The clip was a birthday scene of Bella but the highlight would be witnessing for the first time the transformation of Jacob to a wolf as he tries to save Bella. The movie is nominated for five categories, tying with James Cameron’s Avatar. But the comedy The Hangover leads the pack with six nominations.

Also in the show is Chaske Spencer, who plays one of the shapeshifters Sam Uley, who will be the official MTV International “2010 MTV Movie awards” guest red carpet correspondent. It will be part of the special edition of MTV At The Movies. Parks and recreations’ Aziz Ansari will host the show. I have no idea what clip they will be showing, but I’m pretty sure that it would be something that would make us want to watch Eclipse when it hits theaters on June 30, 2010.
