Muse in Eclipse Soundtrack: Third Time’s a Charm

The single is titled “Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever)” and it is sung by the English alternative rock band Muse. I am a huge fan of them, too. Muse is one of my favorite rock bands of all time. They are just freaking awesome. I was glad as well because when I listened to the rock song, they really made the right choice. It had the same bittersweet sting to it that the movie was looking for. In an interview with Muse’s vocalist Matt Bellamy, he said that he wrote the song after he broke up with his long-time girlfriend in 2009. The lyrics were based on his feelings at the beginning of their relationship. It captured the emotions of the forbidden love of Bella and Edward.
