The Philippines is alive once again for it’s National boxing hero will once again embark on a journey to bring pride ang glory to the country. Manny Pacquiao is set to fight the Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto on a fight dubbed as the fight of the year. Pacquiao Vs Cotto “Firepower” is set to happen this November 14 on the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao was quoted saying that he’s to face toughest test yet in Cotto on this fight thus he’s training more vigorous than ever before. Team Pacquiao first planned on doing his training in the States but there have been some complications that forced them to decide to take his training here in the Philippines. Promoter Bob Arum discussed the reason on why pacquiao is not training on the wild card gym on his blog in the lasvegassun’s website.

Coach Freddy Roach was not agreeable about having to train here in the Philippines since he knows that a lot of distractions can get in the way of Paccquiao’s training. He was so right about it. A super typhoon hit the Philippines during the training period and Pacquiao went out of his way to help the typhoon victims on his day-off. Even though it was a reckless move since a lot could have happened to him on that mission, it was still an admirable deed.
